For over twenty years, De Staat have been pushing the boundaries of what a rock band can truly be. Now, they are returning with a fresh self-titled album, which they will present to Czech fans on November 1, 2026, at Futurum Music Bar, joined by special guest Hiqpy.
Tickets on sale from April 30, 10:00, at GoOut.
Hailing from the Netherlands, De Staat have earned a reputation as one of the boldest bands in Europe. Across six studio albums and countless live shows, their work has consistently explored themes of demagoguery and mass manipulation.
They have performed at major festivals including SXSW, Glastonbury, Lowlands, Sziget, Rock for People, and Rock Werchter, sharing stages with icons like The Rolling Stones and Muse. Their sound—a unique collision of industrial grooves, heavy riffs, experimental electronica, and pop hooks—has earned them Edison Awards, 3FM Awards, and widespread critical acclaim.
Following a two-year hiatus, the band returns with a self-titled record that reflects the dystopian anxieties of the modern world more than ever before. It is a place where power clashes with populism and control, and where the boundaries between reality and fiction are increasingly blurred.
