Jonathan Roy + Portair
NEWLY ANNOUNCED

Canadian singer-songwriter Jonathan Roy traded a promising hockey career for the stage – and is now steadily winning hearts around the world with music that is honest, powerful, and deeply emotional. He will bring his new album Symphony of Doubts to Prague’s Rock Café on February 6, 2026.

Tickets on sale from November 12, 10:00, at GoOut: https://goout.net/cs/jonathan-roy/szugedy/.

He began writing poetry at thirteen, but at seventeen stepped into the world of professional hockey, coached by his father – legendary NHL goaltender Patrick Roy (Colorado Avalanche, Montreal Canadiens). In the end, music won. Jonathan released his debut album in 2009 but his true breakthrough came eight years later with Mr. Optimist Blues and the hit single Beautiful Day.

Where Jonathan’s music truly comes alive is on stage. He has a rare ability to turn a venue into a sanctuary of stories and soul. In recent years he has earned a global following through intimate live sessions that capture pure, unfiltered presence. No masks – just Jonathan, his band, and a simple truth: strength doesn’t come from perfection, but from the courage to be human.

Every song is a journey inward. Symphony of Doubts follows that path – an album filled with sincerity, soaring melodies, and vulnerability that is both raw and empowering. It is music about embracing uncertainty, finding freedom, and discovering love – in ourselves and in each other.
