One of the most famous electronic bands of all time has already shown a return to the music world in style in previous years. After ending their ten-year hiatus in 2021 with the release of the “Elemental” EP, they made it clear to fans that they have big plans. The band followed up the comeback with a string of singles and a stunning series of headline festival shows.
The band has been reaping success since their early days. Releasing their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Hold Your Colour’ in 2005, which included the monster tracks ‘Slam’, ‘Fasten Your Seatbelt’, ‘Tarantula’ and ‘Blood Sugar’, they became instantly known for their unique blend of high-tempo productions and energetic shows. Under the direction of Rob Swire and his bandmates Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding, the album went platinum and the band took to the road. By 2008, when the platinum album “In Silico” was released, Pendulum were one of the biggest touring stars in electronic music and the album spawned the now iconic tracks “Granite” and “Propane Nightmares”.
Pendulum have performed on the main stages of festivals around the world including Download, Rock for People, Sziget, Creamfields, Coachella, Rock Am Ring, Reading/Leeds and T in the Park, and their success continued to grow as they completed their biggest UK tour to date in front of over 50,000 people, including two massive sell-out shows at Brixton Academy, which were later released as a complete live CD/DVD.
