Peter Doherty

Peter Doherty
NEWLY ANNOUNCED

Peter Doherty, the voice of the legendary The Libertines and Babyshambles, has embarked on a solo career in indie folk. He will present his latest album, Felt Better Alive, to Czech audiences on May 3, 2026, at the MeetFactory club.

Tickets are on sale now at GoOut.

Peter made his mark on music history primarily thanks to The Libertines, which he founded together with Carl Barât and in which he sings, plays guitar, and writes lyrics. In the band’s early days, critics called him one of the most promising songwriters of his generation.

In 2009, he launched a solo project, which he continues to pursue successfully to this day. His latest album, Felt Better Alive (2025), is a collection of songs with acoustic, orchestral, and country elements. The songs are also interwoven with Peter’s characteristic sense of melody, idiosyncratic poetic realism, and strong storytelling talent. In addition, the album was created during an exceptional period in Peter’s life—when his wife Katia was expecting their child.

“They’re not necessarily happy songs but there’s something uplifting about them, even when they’re about something melancholy,” notes Peter. “It’s a group of songs that I really love, and, you never know, maybe the world might agree!”
