You may remember the original Estonian duo from last year’s Rock for People, where they rocked the whole tent. The “neozombiepostfolk” duo (as they call their style) with a penchant for musical experimentation will bring their show to Prague’s Bike Jesus club on November 18th.

Tickets will go on sale April 18, 10:00, at GoOut

Puuluup was formed in 2014 by two talharpa enthusiasts Ramo Teder and Marko Veisson. Ramo Teder is a multi-instrumentalist and has been known for his long solo project Pastacas. He is also a looping pioneer in Estonia and has mastered these skills for twenty years already.
In 2024 Puuluup together with Estonian Hip Hop band 5 Miinust represented Estonia at Eurovision Song Contest and got into finale.

Marko Veisson has a background in anthropology and his fieldwork in Northern Ghana as well as his love for West-African music have definitely influenced Puuluup’s style. Both musicians were enchanted by talharpa’s sound, rich with overtones. But they also had a common wish to explore new musical possibilities for that ancient instrument. During their 10-year career they have experienced a continuous growth of popularity. While Puuluup started out at first more as a hobby project, it has become one of the biggest acts in Estonia. Puuluup is most praised for their live shows, which are enriched with elements of absurdly lovely choreography and dry humour. They regularly perform at festivals with varied musical genres.

They have performed in many countries from Chile, Canada and USA till India and Taiwan with nearly every European country in between. They gave concerts in front of huge crowds at Rudolstadt festival in Germany, Rock for People or Colours of Ostrava in Czech Republic, WOMAD UK, OFF festival in Poland, Dranouter in Belgium, Ziro Festival in India as well as intimate lives in the smaller venues.
