This Australian outfit is practically at home in the Czech Republic! Since their formation in 2012, they’ve performed here four times in total, most recently with their headline show at the Bike Jesus club. Regarding their last concert, iReport wrote: “Vocalist Bonnie Fraser didn’t give the audience a moment to breathe. The pace only slowed down right before the choruses, but otherwise, every song was a detonator. The only thing that changed was the rhythm people were jumping to.”
With four albums already under their belt, they are now back with their latest single “Velcro,” which marks a fresh start for the band. Backed by high-octane pop-punk energy, they sing about emotional vulnerability and an almost magnetic attraction—a completely new territory for the group. “I’ve spent 10 years avoiding love songs and writing only about what ended in heartbreak. On ‘Velcro’, that curse is finally broken. It’s the most honest thing I’ve written in a long time – after a really intense period of writer’s block. The curse is officially broken, the gates are open, our lovergirl era is on, and ‘Velcro’ says you’re welcome.” vocalist Bonnie Fraser said about the single.
