The Pretty Reckless will perform twice in the Czech Republic this year – at Rock for People 2026 and in the fall with their headline show! The band announces their fifth album, Dear God, and an accompanying tour, which will bring them to Prague’s Forum Karlín on November 16, 2026.

When singer Taylor Momsen threw away her stellar acting career at the age of fourteen to devote herself fully to rock ‘n’ roll, she had no idea what an avalanche she would set off. She formed The Pretty Reckless as a clear response to the labels that those around her tried in vain to pin on her. The band also includes guitarist Ben Phillips, drummer Jamie Perkins, and bassist Mark Damon.
Their debut album Light Me Up (2010), featuring the hit single “Make Me Wanna Die,” catapulted the band to the top of the charts. Their status as rock icons was definitively confirmed by their second album, Going To Hell (2014), which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200 and produced three consecutive radio number ones.
The Pretty Reckless’ music is based mainly on the singer’s distinctive voice, which is rough and strong, but also fragile and vulnerable. Their work combines raw hard rock with more intimate tones, inviting listeners on an emotional journey. The band is even more impressive live, with their shows built on tremendous energy and Taylor Momsen’s magnetic stage presence. No wonder they were chosen as the opening act for The Rolling Stones in Las Vegas and AC/DC on their PWR Up stadium tour in Europe in 2024. They didn’t hold back in 2025 either, opening for AC/DC on their tour of the US and Europe.
The first single from the upcoming album Dear God, the song “For I Am Death,” immediately followed up on previous successes and is a more than promising preview of the entire album. It’s an album that will hit you to the core and never let you go.
