The Irish band The Scratch has the energy of a bar brawl, and we love it! On November 28, 2026, the band will return to the Czech Republic—this time to Prague’s Bike Jesus club—and they’ll be bringing their new album, Pull Like A Dog.
Tickets on sale from April 17, 10:00, at GoOut.
If you want to experience a true Dublin pub, a concert by The Scratch is the place to be. This band blends hard-hitting music with traditional Irish sean-nós singing, and the result is an unbridled intensity that will sweep you into the mosh pit below the stage. It’s no wonder they’ve toured alongside the Dropkick Murphys and Dermot Kennedy. Plus, they’re practically at home in the Czech Republic—this will be their sixth show here at Bike Jesus!
2017 was a turning point for the band when their video from the Rory Gallagher Festival went viral. The members realized then that their project could be much bigger than they’d ever imagined. Their second album, Mind Yourself (2023), debuted at No. 1 on the Irish vinyl charts and earned a nomination for Irish Album of the Year at the Choice Music Prize. In addition, they’ve gained support from stations like BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6, and their music recently appeared in the new Netflix series “House of Guinness”.
Now The Scratch is back with their latest album, Pull Like A Dog, released on March 13, 2026. It’s a refined fusion of acoustic and electric sounds, blending folk with metal. “For us as a band, this is a new beginning,” says Conor (guitar, backing vocals). “Openness, perseverance, and positivity—this album embodies exactly that.” The Scratch consists of Conor Dockery, Cathal McKenna, Daniel Lang, and Gary Regan.
