The stray guitars of British avant-rockers unpeople will resound through Czechia once again after their spellbinding show at Rock for People 2026! This time, they are bringing their debut record we are unpeople to Café V lese on February 8, 2027.
Tickets on sale from September 25, 10:00, at GoOut.
“Friday’s show by Britain’s unpeople was nearly brilliant in almost every aspect. Finally, a guitar band that is interesting, fresh, and aspires to be the new young stars. It’s not for nothing that their nickname for the festival, Rock for Unpeople, caught on among the crowd,” wrote Headliner magazine about the band’s performance at Rock for People 2026.
The band consists of Jake Crawford, Luke Caley, Em Lodge, and Richard Rayner. They burst onto the scene in 2024 with their debut EP, which earned praise from magazines like Metal Hammer (“UK metal’s most promising 2024 debut”) and Distorted Sound.
The core idea behind the band rests on a simple yet powerful message: “We are all unpeople.” We are the ones society often overlooks—and unpeople transform this defiance into music that unites and resonates with those who refuse to be silenced.
On October 9, 2026, the band releases their debut album we are unpeople. It features already well-known tracks from their debut EP, “the garden,” “waste,” and “smother.” However, the album is also accompanied by a new single, “friends,” about which singer Jake Crawford said: “friends is essentially a love song from the perspective of someone who is wholly sceptical about the very concept of love and what it’s come to mean in a modern context. I am essentially saying I am going to kill the very concept of love before it’s even had a chance to get a hold of me – I am that afraid of being that vulnerable.” Whether you like Architects or Deftones, metalcore or pop, unpeople have something for you.
