On their latest album, The Host, Acres have traded their “kings of scream” title for the status of true alternative metal stars. They’ll be bringing the new record to Prague’s Bike Jesus on October 27, 2026, joined by special guests Wayside, What Lies Below, and Lifespark.

Following the success and critical acclaim of their debut Lonely World (2019)—which blended melody and melancholy with a crushing grace—Acres have achieved things they once only dreamed of. They’ve toured with the likes of Casey, Caskets, and most recently Fit For A King, with whom they stopped by Prague’s ROXY this past April.
On their latest release, The Host (2025), the band taps into the feeling that we are all merely “hosts” to something consuming us from within. In other words—everyone has something they can’t live without. This uncomfortable truth lies at the very core of the album. The songs race between a sense of glowing warmth and chilling shadows, offering tracks that even Architects themselves would be proud of.
