The turning point in his career came in 2021 with the single “NUMB,” which literally took over TikTok and has since racked up over 180 million streams on Spotify alone. Three years later, with his EP Why Do I Hear Breathing, Chri$tian proved he is definitely no “one-hit wonder.” He followed it up shortly after with his debut album No Strings Attached, which delivered the fan-favorite track “TOXIC.”
Chri$tian Gate$ draws inspiration from essentially everywhere and flamboyantly defies genre pigeonholing. His work is also shaped by his turbulent youth in California, filled with street racing and brushes with the law. Yet, despite all his wild experiences, Chri$tian leaves enough space in his lyrics for everyone to find their own story within them.
