IDLES
NEWLY ANNOUNCED

IDLES announce their return to the Czech Republic following their explosive performance at Rock for People 2025!They will confirm that they are angrier, more urgent, and bolder to the audience on July 7, 2026 at Forum Karlín.

Tickets on sale from December 4, 11:00, at Ticketmaster and Ticketportal.

With two albums hitting number one on the UK charts, including the album TANGK (2024), they have climbed from underground favorites to a globally acclaimed, multi-GRAMMY-nominated band. Now they are conquering the film industry with their first attempt at an original soundtrack for the film Caught Stealing by Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky.

The band emerged from the dark corners of Bristol to scream out their fear, anger, and frustration with the world around them, built on the ruins of the city’s waning indie scene. The band oscillates somewhere between rock and punk. They combine the fury of post-punk and punk rock with a muscular, moody instrumental assault that matches the purposeful threat of the lyrics. Their music is raw and honest to the core, and the band uncompromisingly wrings sweat and blood from themselves and their fans at their concerts.

IDLES have come a long way with their Czech fans and are now returning to the Czech Republic for their largest headline concert, the seventh time they’ve played here. They first played the Czech Republic at Rock for People 2017, and have since returned several times alongside two sold-out club shows (2019, 2022, 2025). “IDLES are a matter of the heart for us. We first brought them to the Czech Republic for the festival in 2017, and within a few years, they grew to the main stage and large halls here. We see this as a natural next step and a tribute to the local fans who have been with them from the beginning,” says Michal Thomes, founder of Rock for People. In addition to their explosive performance on the main stage of Rock for People 2025, the band’s influence is expanding globally. During their recent US tour, they performed as the headliner at the Forest Hills Stadium in New York. At the Glastonbury festival, IDLES delivered an impressive performance on the Other Stage, during which the artist Banksy unveiled an inflatable boat with migrants and passenger dummies – a powerful artistic intervention that became an international sensation. In early November of this year, IDLES appeared as guests on one of the singles on the upcoming Gorillaz album, The Mountain, in the song “The God of Lying”.
