Ocean Sleeper is the future of modern metalcore – crushing riffs, incredible energy, and a healthy dose of screaming. Now they are preparing for their first solo show in Czechia! The band will arrive on June 26, 2026, at the Café V lese club in Prague.

The band comes from Gippsland, Australia, and was formed in 2014. The members are singer Karl Spiessl, guitarist and singer Ionei Heckenberg, and guitarist Stan Liagourdis.
They first introduced themselves to Czech audiences as the opening act for last year’s Adept show at MeetFactory, where they proved that they are just as good on stage as they are in the studio. They have also toured with stars such as While She Sleeps, In Hearts Wake, Make Them Suffer, and Stick to Your Guns, and have played at world festivals such as Unify Gathering and Good Things.
The band released their first single in 2016, followed three years later by their debut album Don’t Leave Me This Way (2019). Their latest release is the EP Maybe Death Is All I Need (2024), on which they broaden their horizons and experiment with incorporating modern pop production into their work without losing the Ocean Sleeper sound.
