Oliver’s talent and passion will always be remembered through his incredible music. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, team, and fans around the world.
From Oliver’s team: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a fan all these years and supporting Oliver while out on the road.
A Santa Cruz, California native, Tree has spent the last decade proving to the world that no one can predict his next move. More than just a singer, he is a producer, writer, director, and performance artist who isn’t afraid to dive into humor, sadness, and profound philosophical metaphors—all within the span of a single song and music video. In doing so, he is crafting his own blueprint for how pop culture should be packaged and marketed in the internet era.
On April 24, 2026, Oliver Tree released his fourth studio album, Love You Madly, Hate You Badly, further cementing his reputation as a visionary pushing the boundaries of alternative pop, electronics, and hip-hop. The album was born over the past two years, during which the artist recorded tracks across seven continents and 82 countries—from Africa to China to Afghanistan. The diverse instruments, sounds, and cultural influences he absorbed during this journey are embedded in the record, forming its adventurous core.
The latest focus track from the album is “Fuck The Whole World,” which gained massive attention following a recent viral remix performance at Coachella during Subtronics’ highly buzzed set. Oliver Tree continues to satisfy his dedicated and growing audience with Andy Kaufman-esque dadaist “meta-humor” while dissecting the absurdity of modern culture and our collective obsession with fame and social media.
