SiM
NEWLY ANNOUNCED

What do you get when you mix nu-metal, postmodern hard rock, and reggae? Exactly—the Japanese band SiM (Silence iz Mine), who are returning to Prague with their solo show! They will perform at Rock Café on February 6, 2027.

Tickets on sale from May 22, 10:00, at GoOut.

The band’s history began in 2004, with guitarist SHOW-HATE joining shortly after, leading to their debut album Silence iz Mine in 2008. A year later, the lineup was completed by bassist SiN and drummer GODRi. In their early days, they drew inspiration mainly from reggae and punk, before gradually exploring the waters of more aggressive metal.

When Corey Taylor (Slipknot) joined them on stage during their performance at Ozzfest Japan in 2015 to cover Radiohead’s hit “Creep,” it was a completely natural step for their heavy musical direction. Since then, they have come a long way, but the major breakthrough in their career came in 2022. That was when they wrote their biggest hit to date, “The Rumbling,” for the hit anime series Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2. The track instantly shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and quickly racked up over 110 million streams on Spotify.

You can find the single “The Rumbling” on their sixth studio album, PLAYDEAD (2023), alongside the wild track “DO THE DANCE” or the song “RED,” which served as the theme song for the Netflix anime Kengan Ashura.
